About the role
- Rapidly prototype and launch A/B tests, then use the results to decide what ships, what iterates, and what gets killed
- Proactively identify opportunities for improving the reliability and scalability of our systems
- Work across the engineering team to improve and uphold high technical standards
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, refactor and scale consumer product features end to end - from member-facing React/TypeScript interfaces through the services and APIs that power them
- Build strong, resilient APIs and partner with mobile engineers on the contracts behind our React Native app
- Own the quality of what you ship end to end - page performance, funnel conversion, accessibility, and the instrumentation that tells you it's working
- Collaborate with product, design, data science, and marketing to understand member pain points and come up with solutions
Requirements
- Proven experience with a modern front-end framework (React or comparable) and a server-side framework (Ruby on Rails or comparable)
