  • The Expansion Joints Machinist is responsible for making parts ready for welding and fabrication.
  • QUALIFICATIONS - High school diploma or equivalent. - Ability to understand and follow English instructions. - Ability to read and understand all measuring devices. - Ability to operate a lift truck.

Responsibilities

  • Perform calculation to form the work piece.
  • Perform the necessary machining & grinding operations using equipment including but not limited to: a Beveling Machine, Plasma Torch, Hand Grinder, Hand Torch, Chop Saw, and Pedestal Grinder.
  • Be RESPONSIBLE and own your stuff

Requirements

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools.
  • Ability to understand and follow English instructions.
  • Ability to read and understand all measuring devices.
  • Ability to operate a lift truck.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
