About the role
- They ensure that purchasing activities are profitable, well-organized, timely, and in compliance with company policies.
- This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate records, managing vendor communications, and facilitating smooth procurement processes.
- This position will be based out of our Salinas, CA office.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative support for the procurement team, including vendor and customer correspondence, and document management.
- Maintain organized and accurate procurement records, ensuring all documentation is current and compliant.
- Collaborate internally with the contract and pricing team to ensure invoice accuracy.
Nice to have
- Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- associate or bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative or procurement support role.
- Experience with procurement software is an asset.

- Assist in reviewing and processing purchase orders.
- Monitor order statuses, delivery schedules, and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely receipt of goods and services.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers to confirm shipping details and resolve delivery or invoice issues.
