Responsibilities
- Documents effective communication with internal and external stakeholders to relay pertinent information and provide updates of child activities per established guidelines and regulations
- Assists with basic technical and administrative classroom support
- Maintains the safety and physical well-being of children in a designated classroom
- The unit of the UWEC Children's Nature Academy is an Accredited, 5 Star, Early Childhood program that strives to support children and families.
- Maintain ratios and other requirements of licensing, accreditation, CACFP, and the University of Wisconsin
Requirements
- Entry level coursework required by the Department of Children and families.
- This position is expected to continue contingent on maintaining the required certification.
- Maintaining paperwork as required.
Nice to have
- Associate Degree in Early Childhood or a Related Field.
Compensation
- The expected hourly hiring salary will be based on qualifications and experience.

- Promoting health and safety practices including sight and sound supervision, name to face checks before and after all transitions, handwashing and sanitation, etc.
- Providing direct care to children, including but not limited to planning developmentally appropriate learning opportunities and curriculum enhancement.
- Assists with the planning and facilitation of classroom programming and classroom coordination and organization for a early childhood education facility according to established curriculums
- Updates and organizes individualized and developmental educational plans for children
