Requirements
- Mix paint with the appropriate thinner as required for correct spraying viscosity.
- Replace filters and clean the spray booth, dry-off, gel, or curing ovens as required.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members.
- Familiarity with high-precision coating environments, including automated powder systems, electrostatic systems, or specialized pretreatment processes.
Nice to have
- Must be able to successfully pass a respiratory physical.
- Must be able to occasionally move equipment weighing up to 30 pounds.
- Must be able to ascend/descend stairs.
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, climb, stoop, and kneel for extended periods.
Skills
- Good eye/hand coordination, finger dexterity, and color sensitivity to achieve an uncompromised high-quality finish.
- Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions, blueprints, and mil-spec requirements.
Compensation
- Total Hourly Earning Potential: $24.00 - $37.20 / hour
- Financial Incentives: 20% 2nd Shift Differential included to significantly increase your take-home pay.

- We're looking for a skilled Industrial Painter to join our growing 2nd shift team at our advanced Jel finishing plant in Chelmsford, MA.
- In this role, you'll be responsible for spraying a variety of parts to precise tolerances and specifications using different types of paint.
