About the role

Essential Functions - Teach assigned courses in Comp.
I and II, transfer curriculum, and/or developmental composition.
Teaching assignments may include evening courses and teaching via alternative delivery systems, such as Zoom and ITV.

Plan and implement appropriate activities to supplement instruction.
Maintain records and files as requested by the department, including submitting grades in a timely manner.

Master's degree in English is required or a Master's degree in another field may be considered with an additional 18 graduate credits in English.
Ability to communicate professionally with individuals from diverse ethnic, racial, socioeconomic, gender and disabilities populations.
ability to understand words and respond effectively and appropriately
Mental requirements include the ability to learn and comprehend basic instructions about the position.
