About the role
- In this role, you'll oversee survey projects from start to finish, collaborating closely with clients, project teams, and field crews.
- We're seeking someone with strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and a passion for helping the communities we serve grow.
- This is a hybrid role, and relocation assistance is available for well-qualified candidates.
Responsibilities
- Manage a variety of land surveying projects, including boundary, topographic, ALTA, final parcel maps, subdivision maps, legal descriptions, and construction staking surveys.
- Develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Review and certify survey documents, including plats, legal descriptions, and exhibits.
- Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, and public agencies to support project goals.
- Participate in business development activities and maintain positive client relationships.
Requirements
- Up to 5 years of experience managing survey projects.
- Extensive knowledge of surveying principles, practices, and equipment (including GPS, robotic total stations, and data collectors).
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and survey software (such as Trimble Business Center or similar).
Nice to have
- 7+ years of progressive project management experience in land surveying.
- Experience working with both private development and public infrastructure projects.
- Established relationships with local municipalities and reviewing agencies.
