About the role
- Each year, the company manufactures thousands of miles of underground and submarine cables and systems for power transmission and distribution, as well as medium low voltage cables for the construction and infrastructure sectors.
- We also produce a comprehensive range of optical fibers, copper cables and connectivity for voice, video and data transmission for the telecommunication sector.

Responsibilities
- Support the sale of products by partnering with Outside Sales and/or Sales Agents to increase sales by managing quote requests, sales leads, product promotions and or analysis of sales data
- Manage customer requests daily, including phone calls, e-mails, EDI and other forms of electronic communication
- Manage quote requests and analyze data supplied by our customer
- Continuously develop product knowledge through internal and/or external training initiatives
- Manage quote requests and analyze data supplied by our customer; and provide pricing and product availability in a timely fashion.
Requirements
- At least 2 years or more relevant work experience
- Experience in sales, customer service, and/or account management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office systems
- Desire and ability to excel in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment
- Associate/Bachelor's degree
Nice to have
- Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
- Knowledge of EDI, ERP systems such as SAP or AS 400 Mainframe a plus
