About the role

Writes and edits technical documentation for all of the project's hardware and software to include installation, configuration and ho-to-documentation.
This role requires strong writing skills, a solid understanding of technical concepts, and the ability to translate complex information into user-friendly content.
Familiar with the Linux CLI including understanding of terminology used to provide related documentation.

Six (6) years' experience as a TW in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
Experience using technical writing tools such as MS Office Tool Suite, MadCap Flare, and Adobe FrameMaker.
Experience implementing complex documentation practices within a software development environment.
Experience using Markup languages including HTML, XML, and Markdown.
Experience creating technical documentation for a wide audience.
Experience using the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence).
Experience with Git Source Control System.
Knowledge of the software development lifecycle.
In lieu of a degree, four (4) years of additional TW experience may be substituted.
