Responsibilities

  • Our partners include some of the world's most recognized retailers and carriers-Walmart, Target, Amazon, Costco, and The Home Depot, to name a few.
  • In this role, you'll partner closely with teams across the business, deliver practical, business-minded counsel, and help build scalable legal processes that support a growing global enterprise.
  • Expect to partner closely with internal stakeholders-Business Development, Supply Chain, HR, Marketing, Finance & Accounting, and IT & Engineering-as well as interface with senior management and legal teams at major retailers and carriers.

Requirements

  • The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.

Nice to have

  • At least 12 years of relevant legal experience, preferably with at least 4 years of in-house experience
  • JD from an accredited law school and active California bar membership in good standing
  • Experience in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements
  • Experience with employment law, litigation, privacy, and/or data security a plus
  • Exceptional judgment and creativity, with the ability to think strategically and give practical advice appropriately weighing legal risks with business objectives
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Solution oriented with an ability to push agreements and projects to conclusions while appropriately balancing legal and business risks

Compensation

  • $210k-$280k
