About the role
- Legal Department provides to the bank on a daily basis, including:
- general branch questions, human resources issues, general and complex litigation, and regulatory matters.
- You will have the opportunity to observe first-hand how the Bank's Legal Department works internally, or with the assistance of outside counsel, to satisfy the needs of businesses and consumers, as well as employees and executive management.
Responsibilities
- Areas of focus vary from general legal research on uncommon issues, as well as assisting corporate counsel with legal document review and revision (employment contracts, non-disclosure agreements, non-solicitation/non-competition agreements, pleadings).
- Communicate well: Deliver information in a clear, logical and effective manner.
- Lead and follow with effectiveness.
Requirements
