About the role

- As a Senior Quality Analyst, you'll play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high‑quality technology solutions across Slide's insurance platforms.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute risk‑based test strategies for applications, enhancements, integrations, and production fixes
- Investigate issues, validate fixes, and recommend actions to improve quality and reduce recurring defects
- Collaboration & Release Support
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and business teams to clarify requirements and support defect resolution
- Support user acceptance testing through scenario development, demonstrations, testing support, and business sign‑offs
- Support release readiness by identifying and escalating quality concerns when appropriate
- Support test automation initiatives by identifying automation opportunities and validating results
- Ability to analyze requirements, system behavior, data, defects, and business risks to drive quality outcomes
- Experience developing test plans, documenting results, and providing release recommendations
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Requirements
- 4+ years of software quality assurance, software testing, or quality engineering experience
- Software testing or quality assurance certification required
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing practices, defect management, and release processes
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Nice to have
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Technology, or a related field preferred
- Experience with Property & Casualty insurance systems, products, or operations preferred
