Responsibilities

  • Manage, coach, and direct crushing crew members
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and optimize production efficiency
  • Supervises daily work of the crushing crew and supports the superintendent in maintaining safe and efficient operations.
  • Maintain accurate logs and documentation
  • Manage stockpiles and maintain clean working areas
  • Perform daily equipment inspections
  • Perform preventative maintenance and component replacements
  • Perform routine maintenance and assist with plant setup

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience in aggregate crushing operations
  • Working knowledge of crushing equipment and heavy civil operations
  • 3+ years' crushing or heavy equipment experience
  • Experience operating large loaders in construction or mining
  • Ability to work in fast‑paced production environments
  • Mechanical experience with crushing or heavy industrial equipment
  • Knowledge of hydraulics, conveyors, and bearings
  • Ability to work in outdoor and rugged environments
  • Operate crushing and screening equipment to produce required aggregate specifications.
  • Ability to work in outdoor, heavy civil construction environments
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to lead a crew and prioritize tasks
  • Strong commitment to safety
  • Mechanical aptitude and strong safety awareness
  • Commitment to safety as the #1 priority

Nice to have

  • Experience in aggregate crushing preferred
