Responsibilities
- Hire, onboard, train, and develop team members, including cross-training and performance evaluations.
- Lead continuous improvement activities that enhance our key performance indicators, improve safety culture and/or advance our team member relations. Participate and assist in activities relating to the 5S and Safety Teams when necessary.
- Partner with Engineering, Scheduling, Maintenance, Materials, and other departments to resolve production issues and support manufacturing operations.
- Utilize ERP, attendance, and other Greenheck systems to support labor and manufacturing processes.
Requirements
- Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment, such as a computer and phone.
- The person is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as:
- Occasional mobility required to attend in-person meetings and complete various office tasks.
Nice to have
- Directly supervise hourly production team members, providing coaching, performance feedback, and corrective action as needed.
- Execute daily production plans while monitoring performance, capacity, and schedule attainment.
- Participate and assist in activities relating to the 5S and Safety Teams when necessary.
- Coordinate activities among various internal departments that can affect the production process (i.e. scheduling, engineering, production management, shipping, inventory control, sales and purchasing).
- Communicate production goals, priorities, and updates through regular team meetings and daily operational communication.
- Promote collaborative effort, team member engagement, autonomy, partnership decision making that aligns with our employer of choice initiatives.
- 2 Year / Associate Degree in supply chain, operations management, engineering, business administration, management, or a related field of study or equivalent years of job experience required.
- 4 Year / Bachelor Degree in supply chain, operations management, engineering, business administration, management, or a related field of study preferred.
Compensation
- Greenheck Group takes pride in providing competitive pay along with a comprehensive benefits package as part of our total rewards program.
- The starting base pay range for this position is $77,235 - $95,408 and may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
