About the role
- This role is ideal for an early-career engineer who is eager to learn and contribute to automation, layout planning, and manufacturing efficiency projects in a fast-paced production environment.
- This role is based onsite at either our Austin, TX or Plantation, FL facility.
Responsibilities
- Support equipment utilization analysis, WIP flow tracking, and basic capacity planning activities.
- Participate in Kaizen events and help document standard work (SOPs, work instructions).
- Analyze production data using statistical tools to support yield and throughput improvements.
- Support factory layout updates using AutoCAD or similar tools.
- Collaborate with equipment vendors and cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing issues.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience (internships or co-ops acceptable) in semiconductor, optics, or advanced manufacturing environments.
Nice to have
- Experience with data analysis tools such as JMP, Minitab, Excel, or Python is a plus.
- Lean or Six Sigma training (Green Belt not required but a plus).
