About the role
- Emigrant Bank Food & Beverage is seeking a dependable, skilled, and team-oriented Line Cook to join our culinary team.
- This position is responsible for preparing and executing high-quality meals in a fast-paced, professional kitchen environment while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, consistency, cleanliness, and safety.

Responsibilities
- Maintain proper food handling, storage, and rotation procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout each shift.
- Support the culinary team with banquet, catering, and special event functions as needed.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation methods, and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
- Ability to communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff.
- Execute service efficiently during breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special events as required.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in a hot, fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Culinary school education or equivalent hands-on experience is a plus.
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physical Requirements
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as business needs require.
- Compensation/Benefits
Nice to have
- Previous experience as a Line Cook, Prep Cook, or similar culinary role preferred.
Compensation
- $75,000 - $85,000 base salary
