- The Loan Closing Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the Mortgage Banker by reviewing application and rate lock documentation.
- Acting as a liaison, the specialist ensures that applications meet Freddie Mac and Berkadia guidelines and prepares Berkadia Commitments and rate locks.
Responsibilities
- Track post-closing documents and coordinating with external counsel and servicing to upload these documents promptly.
- Reconcil e good faith accounts and perform various other accounting functions related to closing.
- Perform administrative duties as assigned to support the goals of the company's Closing function.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Requirements
- Proficiency in using loan management systems and software, such as OmniView.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in a similar position
