About the role

  • The Prosthetist Orthotist Resident will provide care to patients with limb loss or disability to the limbs or spine by fitting and preparing devices known as prostheses and orthoses.
  • They will work together with Certified Prosthetists and Orthotists under the direction and in consultation with a physician.
  • The Prosthetist Orthotist Resident will:

Responsibilities

  • Formulates design of the orthosis or prosthesis including selecting materials, making case measurements, and designing model modifications and layouts. Performs fitting, including static and dynamic alignments.

Compensation

  • $40,600.00 - $69,600.00
