Lead structural engineering design and development, directing internal and external engineers and consultants across temporary infrastructure and renovation projects.
Analyze existing infrastructure to determine supplemental structural improvements, and integrate structural designs into the venue design with architects and engineers.
Develop design guides that adapt IOC requirements to local practice, and prepare the structural portion of venue design books from concept through construction drawings.
Partner across Energy, Technology, Villages, Finance, and Procurement to integrate requirements and support Permitting, Risk Management, and Event Operations.
Experience in U.S. and California design and construction, including large events with temporary infrastructure and rigging.
Real ownership of structural design across the venues that will host the Games.
Cross-functional exposure across Energy, Technology, Villages, and delivery partners.

Required Competencies
5 years of experience with structural engineering infrastructure design and construction.
An accredited bachelor's degree in structural engineering.
Experience with key industry codes and standards, structural engineering activities, and project management fundamentals - scope, schedule, and budget.

The annual base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $155,000 The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role.
All LA28 compensation remains subject to final determination based on individual candidate qualifications, experience, or other reasonable criteria consistent with LA28's operational business needs and applicable law.
