About the role
- Take ownership in Crisis Management situations, implementing rapid solutions to restore quality and delivery performance.
- Provide expert guidance to enhance processes and stabilize production and manufacturing operations.
- Assess supplier capabilities, quality systems, and compliance standards.
Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted partner to suppliers, identifying improvement areas and driving Quality Improvement initiatives.
- Lead efforts during design and development phases to prevent defects, minimize risks, and ensure robust quality standards.
- Drive continuous improvement programs focused on quality, cost, delivery, and sustainability metrics.
- Communicate and collaborate directly with clients, presenting solutions and progress updates confidently.
- Creative thinker who develops solutions when none seem obvious.
- Step into a high-impact role where you'll lead quality improvement initiatives and manage critical challenges to keep production and performance on track.
Requirements
- You have a bachelor's degree (or higher) in engineering or a comparable field.
- You are passionate about Quality Improvement and skilled in implementing robust processes to prevent defects and enhance performance.
- You have strong problem-solving skills and proven ability to conduct root cause analysis.
- Hands-on experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS), testing methodologies, and compliance standards (IATF, VDA, ISO).
- WHO YOU ARE: You have a bachelor's degree (or higher) in engineering or a comparable field.
- You are comfortable with extensive travel (up to 100% of your working time), typically Monday through Friday, depending on client and project needs.) You are legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Nice to have
- You bring 3+ years of experience in the automotive industry
- EV-sector experience is a plus.
- Fluent in English
- German and Spanish are a plus.
Compensation
