About the role

Responsibilities
- Own the school budget, forecasting and work force planning; set budgets, create organizational structures, and allocate capital and people resources to achieve company and functional goals;
- Create a strong, trusting relationship with the board (district) clients, ensure compliance with contract requirements, and provide advice on policies, programs and innovative solutions;
- Create and manage requisitions, oversee recruitment of all teachers, facilitate digital interviews, and determine new hire placement;
- Research and implement non-K12 curriculum resources as needed to meet state standards;
- Develop and oversee implementation of the school's School Improvement Plan;
- Perform other assigned duties as necessary.
Requirements
- Master's Degree AND
- 3 or more years of experience in a Principal or School Director position
- Ability to work with and through people to establish goals, objectives, and action plans
- Highly organized with the ability to coordinate complex programs and processes
- Ability to travel 15% of the time
- Ability to clear required background check
- The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, a deep understanding of curriculum development, and a commitment to academic excellence.
Nice to have
- Demonstrated experience in supervision, training, and development of teachers
- Possesses knowledge of technical systems used within the organization
- Thorough knowledge of Florida accountability structures and systems
- Experience in a Virtual School setting
- Florida 5 Year Professional School Administrator Certificate preferred
