About the role
- Carefree Hwy, Suite 1798, Phoenix, AZ 85086.
- The CSLP student worker's work schedule is dependent on the hours of operations and needs of [insert organization's name]; however, CSLP student workers may not work more than 20 hours per week during the academic year (i.e., fall/spring).
- If eligible, CSLP student workers can work during summer (i.e., May - August).
Responsibilities
- Communicate with collection and distribution partners
- Support the refurbishment of bicycles (i.e., cleaning, repair)
- Grand Canyon University (GCU) maintains relationships with nonprofit organizations identified by the IRS as 501(c)(3) by virtue of their charitable programs.
- GCU maintains a partnership with Free Bikes 4 Kidz (FB4K) located at 3120 W.
Requirements
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Enrolled at GCU in a bachelor's program or master's program full-time during fall/spring or half-time during summer.
- Maintain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
- Have passion and willingness to help others succeed.
- Possess strong ethics, integrity, and sense of responsibility.
Nice to have
- Ability to speak a second language a plus.
