About the role
- Provide hands-on instruction to ensure the safe and effective use of Pilates equipment
- Conduct fitness consultations for new clients, including pre-participation screening, goal setting, and program recommendations
- Promote and sell Pilates training packages, Group Fitness classes, and Personal Training services
Responsibilities
- The Pilates Instructor is responsible for inspiring members to build healthier, happier lives through meaningful relationships and expert instruction.
- Design safe, professional, and comprehensive Pilates programs tailored to individual client goals
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming Pilates studio environment
- Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure members feel competent, confident, and connected
- Lead private, semi-private, and group Pilates sessions
- Document all aspects of client programming and progress
Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years of pilates training experience
- Experience designing Pilates programs
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Complete all required administrative tasks related to client programming and scheduling
Nice to have
- 150-400 hour comprehensive Pilates certification (including Mat, Reformer, Tower, and Chair training)
