About the role
- The NYC Financial Information Services Agency - Office of Payroll Administration (FISA-OPA) has a vacancy for a PeopleSoft Administrator.
- Primary Responsibilities include: This role will be a technical position responsible for the installation, maintenance, and configuration of PeopleSoft, PeopleTools and associated Middleware infrastructure.
- Tasks will include supporting the infrastructure of critical Citywide applications, including NYCAPS and related applications.
Requirements
- 5+ years' experience of PeopleSoft Administration, ideally with the HCM module with North American Payroll
- Experience working with different lines of business to fully understand the customizations and modifications of the environment and the impact on the upgrade lifecycle.
- Experience in administration of associated middleware products like, Oracle WebLogic, IBM WebSphere, etc.
- Has strong knowledge of Server virtualization, PeopleSoft debugging, PeopleSoft tuning
- Has strong knowledge of PeopleSoft with Oracle RAC Architecture integration and configuration
- Ability to plan and prioritize work and meet project deadlines
- Must be self-motivated and work well with other groups
Nice to have
- Has strong knowledge of PeopleSoft and PeopleTools on UNIX, with AIX and RHEL preferred
- Preferred Skills:
Skills
- Working knowledge of development and configuration management tools (Rational Suite preferred).
- Understanding of standard SDLC methodologies.
- Proficient in relational databases and table structure.
- Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills required.
- Strong MS Office 2010 and later; including Visio, Excel and MS-Access.
