About the role

The Senior Controls Program Engineer (SCPE) provides controls engineering expertise during the pre-award phase of complex engineering projects, focusing on standardization, modularization, and alignment with Amazon's technical and operational needs.
They ensure scope, schedules, and budgets meet organizational standards and Amazon's expectations.
During project handover, the SCPE prepares risk assessments, identifies opportunities, and shares Lessons Learned to guide execution.

Coordinate and critically review multidisciplinary design efforts to ensure seamless integration and adherence to the highest technical standards.
Display superior communication skills, leading by example to drive effective collaboration and cross-disciplinary integration.

Ability to walk, kneel, crouch and balance frequently.
Ability to climb, ascending or descending ladders, stairs, ramps, etc., using feet, legs and/or hands and arms frequently.
Ability to lift, push or pull up to 75lbs occasionally.
Ability to sit/stand frequently for long and/or intermittent periods of time.
Personal Protective Equipment required at active job sites.
Employees may be required to perform any other job-related duties as requested by their supervisor.

The base salary range for this role is $87,600 to $131,300.
This base salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary range for this position.
Actual base salary offered will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
