About the role
- The Infusion RN is responsible for providing safe, patient-centered care to individuals receiving IV infusion therapies.
- This position involves administering treatments, monitoring patient progress, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring adherence to all safety and clinical standards.
- Administer IV infusions, injections, and prescribed treatments in accordance with provider orders and protocols.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant infusion area, including inventory and medication preparation.
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff to ensure coordinated care delivery.
- Support efficient patient flow and contribute to a calm, supportive environment for all patients.
Requirements
- & Requirements Graduate of an accredited nursing program (required).
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience (required).
- Prior experience in an infusion center or IV therapy setting (required).
- Qualifications & Requirements Graduate of an accredited nursing program (required).
Skills
- Proficiency in IV insertion and venipuncture.
- Strong understanding of infusion pumps, medication administration, and emergency procedures.
- Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and patient interaction skills.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and accurate documentation.
- Work Environment Outpatient medical clinic setting.
- Requires standing or sitting for extended periods and occasional lifting of supplies.
- Consistent weekday schedule-no weekend or holiday shifts.
