About the role

Our product portfolio includes a range of automation solutions, including robots, vacuum systems, and atmospheric robots for semiconductor manufacturing ( www.brooks.com ).
The Product Manager reports to the Product Line Senior Director, Atmospheric Solutions.
The Product Strategy includes: Alignment with Brooks strategy, market sizing, customer segmentation, high value problem identification, prioritization, product roadmaps and product life cycle planning (Cost Reduction, E&O, EOL).

Successful Product Managers maintain a working knowledge of technical aspects of the product and a solid financial understanding of the overall cost contributor components.
This symbiotic knowledge is essential to optimize future CIP (customer improvement projects), value engineering cost savings (cost vs. capability) and overall cost reductions.
Ability to generate Market Requirement Documents (MRD) to communicate customer and/or segment value proposition for New Product Introduction (NPI).
Ability to maintain and communicate the business unit's booking, billing and backlog information. The Product Manager "owns" the revenue forecast for the product line.
Execute strategy within a matrixed organization of sales, applications engineering, engineering, and manufacturing; developing business plans, marketing strategy, pricing, and product positioning that sustains innovative differentiation amongst our competitors' products.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Physics or a related technology field.
Minimum of 6 years of Product Management experience.
Minimum of 4 years Value / Solution Selling experience.
Ability to motivate and generate results within a matrixed organization.
A working knowledge of Semiconductor Fab automation.
A working knowledge of Semiconductor Fab process and/or Semiconductor Advanced Packaging.
Detail oriented, have strategic thinking skills, and strong organization and interpersonal skills.
Direct experience with Semiconductor Automation, Semiconductor Process Equipment, and GEM/SECS Automation is preferred.

Base Salary Range: $155,415.70 USD to $210,268.30 USD
Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
