Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain, and analyze complex Excel-based development underwriting and financial models across multiple asset classes, including residential, industrial, mixed-use, office, and alternatives.
  • Support feasibility analysis, scenario testing, and sensitivity analysis related to project returns, development costs, revenues, and capital structures.
  • Conduct market research and due diligence to support the underwriting and evaluation of development opportunities and existing projects.
  • Support portfolio-level reporting, capital forecasting, and business planning initiatives across the development pipeline.
  • Review and critically evaluate underwriting prepared by internal development teams and external joint venture partners.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Development, Investments, Asset Management, Portfolio Management, Treasury, Accounting, and Research.
  • Support strategic initiatives and special projects related to the development program and portfolio.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to develop a career within real estate development and investment management.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 -2 years of experience in real estate development, investments, asset management, consulting, or financial analysis.
  • University degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with experience building, maintaining, and analyzing complex financial models.
  • Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Word

Compensation

  • The expected annualized base salary range for this role is $ 85,000 - $95,000.
  • The actual salary offered will take into consideration a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the individual's skill, experience, education and training, the market compensation of the role, and the consideration to internal equity.
