About the role

This position will be responsible for prepping food and assisting Chef prep.
include dishwashing duties, dinner wares, pots and pans, utensils, service platters, equipment, and general daily sanitary maintenance.
Serving and assisting diners is of the utmost importance.

The cook position will also maintain clean and full shelves and refrigerators through stocking and helping maintain inventory levels.
Assist Chef log and maintain inventory levels, and know how and when to order more products

Must be ServSafe certified
Must be comfortable and safe with basic knife skills, as well as cooking techniques requiring fire and hot temperatures
2 years experience in professional kitchens
Experience and knowledge of cooking from scratch
Excellent verbal skills, including the ability to communicate with others clearly and accurately
Ability to read, or listen to instructions, and follow instructions
Ability to read and comprehend labels and cleaning chemicals
Abide by safety and sanitary rules of the kitchen to ensure the safest environment for food and the diners
Must possess excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Availability to work a non-traditional schedule that will include evenings, weekends, and holidays
Requires standing for long periods at a time, occasional climbing, and stooping or kneeling
Requires lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling of up to 30 pounds
