  • The Difference You Make: Santander Corporate & Investment Banking (SCIB) is looking for an Analyst to join the Export & Agency Finance (EAF) team in the US, with a primary focus on Latin America and Multilateral Agencies (MLAs).

Responsibilities

  • Support the origination, structuring, and execution of EAF transactions, with a focus on Latin America and MLA-backed financings (e.g., IDB, IFC, CAF).
  • Build and maintain financial models, including cash flow analysis and profitability metrics.
  • Support client relationship management, including preparing pitchbooks and participating in client meetings, particularly in LatAm markets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field
  • 1-4 years of relevant experience in structured finance, export finance, project finance, or corporate banking
  • Ability to operate effectively in a cross-border, multicultural environment
  • Frequent minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking is required for this role.

  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
  • Professional fluency in Spanish (written and spoken) preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Preferred Qualifications

Nice to have

  • Experience working on Latin American transactions or clients preferred
  • Exposure to MLAs such as IDB, IFC, CAF, or World Bank Group
  • Background in infrastructure, energy, or industrial sectors preferred
  • Prior experience in Investment Banking, Structured Finance, or Trade Finance

Compensation

  • $110,000.00 USD Maximum:
  • $135,000.00 USD
  • The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range.
  • For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week.
  • The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
