Responsibilities

  • Your opportunity Our client is a Canadian fintech reimagining how people manage their money, starting with one of their largest recurring expenses: their monthly bills.
  • You will lead on mobile projects while moving across the front end and into the back end when the work calls for it.
  • You will own the mobile experience for a React Native application across iOS and Android, currently live and roughly at parity with web.
  • The work is continuous improvement, new product surfaces, and ongoing experimentation rather than a from-scratch build.
  • You will partner closely with product, design, and the rest of engineering to turn early ideas into shipped features.
  • Ship and maintain features across the React Native app end to end, spanning architecture, code, testing, and release to the
  • Participate in technical design discussions to ensure that systems can handle increasing transaction volumes and growing feature complexity, all while maintaining security, performance, and reliability
  • Work closely with product, design, and other engineering team members to translate product requirements into technical solutions; share insights, mentor less experienced engineers, and contribute to a supportive, knowledge-sharing culture
