About the role

  • You will not just be our internal Finance leader, but a subject matter expert for our product & engineering teams, especially our revenue recognition squad.
  • Given we sell to finance teams, you will also have an unparalleled opportunity to represent Sequence with your peers at events, customer / prospect calls and onsite presentations.
  • As noted, not a typical HoF position:) This role will report directly to the Co-Founder / COO, and will initially be supported by our fractional, outsourced UK and US accounting teams.

Responsibilities

  • USXP: From Oxford to a16z: building a US-first mindset at Sequence https://www.usxp.co/resources/from-oxford-to-a16z-how-riya-grover-built-a-us-first-mindset-at-sequence/: go-to-market and US expansion.
  • In short, you will drive material value across Finance, Product & GTM.

Requirements

  • 4+ years experience in fast-growing B2B SaaS / AI scaleups
