Responsibilities

  • Maintain safe and proper operation of forklift and equipment
  • Maintain die-cutter machines (Minor table repairs/changes, minor blade repairs/changes, blow off and oil machines)
  • Maintain less than 3.5% absenteeism rate
  • Provide own CSA approved steel-toed footwear

Requirements

  • The Die-Cutter is primarily responsible for cutting raw mats from the yard into various required finished products for end users as well as helping maintain departmental equipment and housekeeping.
  • Must have good communication/interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Must be observant, patient and respectful of others
  • Must have forklift training
  • Must be able to perform and endure physical labour
  • Must be able to perform shift-work schedules
