As a key member of our buying team, you will be at the centre of our retail organization.
You will also contribute to the development and optimization of cross-functional processes that improve collaboration across merchandising, planning, marketing, and supply chain teams.

Responsibilities

The Category Business Analyst - Wheeled Goods supports SportChek's Canadian retail operations by managing vendor processes, analyzing product lines, and providing insights that help meet customer needs.
This role supports Category Business Managers in developing relevant store assortments aligned with financial goals and brand strength.
Your work will help drive operational efficiency, streamline decision-making, and support alignment across the business to deliver a seamless customer experience.

Requirements

Undergraduate and/or post-graduate degree in Business, Commerce, Retail Management, Data & Analytics, or a related field.
Retail experience in an analytical role is an asset
Strong presentation skills, with the ability to adapt style and format to suit the audience.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate, influence, and negotiate with colleagues and senior business partners.
Technical knowledge of bike building, repair, and maintenance is considered an asset.

Broadband Salary Range: $53,000 - $88,000.
Our typical hiring range is between $53,000 and $70,000. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements. For critical roles, the compensation offering will be reviewed to ensure alignment with market rate and conditions and the unique value you bring to the role.
