About the role

  • This is a role for someone who wants to be hands-on in a fast-paced environment, contributing directly to features while growing their skills as part of a high-performing engineering team.

Responsibilities

  • Feature Development: Build and ship user-facing features across mobile (Flutter) and web (React/Next.js).
  • Collaboration: Partner with product and design to translate requirements into intuitive, high-quality experiences.
  • Design System: Contribute to the evolution of Made's design system and frontend best practices.
  • Problem Solving: Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize applications across platforms.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of frontend engineering experience.
  • Proficiency with Flutter (Dart) for mobile and React/Next.js (or similar frameworks) for web applications.
  • Track record of shipping high-quality features in consumer-facing products.
  • Strong understanding of modern JavaScript/TypeScript, component-based architecture, and responsive design.

Nice to have

  • Experience in fintech, credit cards, or other regulated consumer products.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and performance optimization.
  • Background in secure data handling, authentication flows, and compliance-heavy environments

Compensation

  • $120,000-$160,000 (determined by experience, qualifications, and location)
  • Competitive salary with a meaningful stake in the company via equity
