Travel regularly to assigned campus markets to sustain active relationships, provide on-the-ground presence, and respond rapidly when issues require direct engagement.
Coordinate with Corporate Communications and Marketing when local issues or in-market events generate media or communications needs.

Build and maintain ongoing relationships with local stakeholders across assigned Compass markets, including county commissioners, city officials, AHJs, EDAs, adjacent landowners, and civic leaders, in support of the VP, Community Relations.
Support in-market issues management: provide on-the-ground stakeholder engagement, local intelligence, and direct relationship activation when community concerns, organized opposition, or local incidents arise.

Bachelor's degree required.
Must have 5-8 years' experience in community relations, public affairs, external affairs, or government relations.
Must be comfortable with frequent travel to assigned Compass campus markets.

capable of managing event logistics and stakeholder relationships independently in the field.
Experience in energy, infrastructure, real estate development, or a related sector preferred.
