About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead planning, execution, and delivery of legacy Navy application and software maintenance and sustainment activities.
  • Manage multidisciplinary software development and maintenance teams.
  • Build effective relationships with government stakeholders, subcontractors, and teaming partners.
  • Ignite Digital enables national security agencies to accelerate decisions, elevate operational outcomes and achieve the outsized performance only an inside partner can deliver.
  • When agencies need a combination of tech and touch, Ignite Digital creates outcome-driving partnerships and stands with agencies to accomplish mission objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Management Information Systems, or Business.
  • 10 years of direct experience supporting C4ISR software maintenance programs.
  • 8 years of direct experience with:
  • 4 years as a manager of software development and maintenance projects, including:
  • Support proposal development, cost estimations, and bid preparation as required.

Nice to have

  • Experience working with DoD C4ISR, maintenance, logistics, or business systems.
  • Other relevant industry experience may be considered with COR approval.
  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DoD procurement policies and procedures.
  • Strong written and oral communication abilities commensurate with a senior project management role.
  • Effective communicator capable of presenting technical and programmatic information clearly.
  • Proven problem-solving skills supporting modernization, sustainment, and C4ISR‑related initiatives.
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
