About the role
- Ibotta is looking for a Data Science Manager, Marketing Analytics to join our fast-growing team.
- Candidates must live in the United States.
- The IPN allows marketers to influence what people buy, and where and how often they shop - all while paying only when their campaigns directly result in a sale.
Responsibilities
- Lead data science projects end-to-end: gathering requirements, cleaning complex datasets, and developing, evaluating, and productionizing innovative technical solutions, while optimizing existing incentive models
- Build centralized and extensible code repositories, packages, and workflows in Python.
- Implement MLOps best practices and establish automated processes to scale insights across Ibotta.
- Serve as a leader across the department, bringing operational and culture-building best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a measurement-driven function with experience working directly with leadership.
- 2+ years of management experience with a proven ability to hire and develop talent.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, data analytics, computer engineering, or a related field.
- Expert-level experience with data analysis and pipeline tools, including Databricks, SQL, Python, Spark, Airflow, and Git/GitHub.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Nice to have
- Demonstrated analytical ability and problem-solving skills
- experience in marketing/media measurement is strongly preferred.
Compensation
- $158,000 - $185,000.
- Total compensation for this role also includes a variable component in addition to base salary.
- Equity is included in overall compensation package.
- This compensation range is specific to the United States labor market and may be adjusted based on actual experience.
