About the role

  • This hands-on leadership role will oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, general accounting, financial reporting, and month-end close activities while partnering closely with the CFO and executive leadership team.
  • The ideal candidate is a strong accounting professional who enjoys balancing operational execution with strategic financial oversight.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibility
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting best practices
  • Experience managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, general ledger, and month-end close processes.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience as a Controller, Assistant Controller, Accounting Manager or similar accounting leadership role preferred
  • Experience in construction, general contracting, manufacturing, or project-based environments is highly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA designation is a plus

Skills

  • Strong ERP/accounting system experience and advanced Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset

Compensation

  • $55k-$60k
