About the role
- Depending upon the qualifications of the successful candidate, the hiring manager may elect to fill this position at a higher level within the job hierarchy. - Positions will be based at the Lark Maintenance Center in Mount Holly, NC.
- The purpose of this restriction is to ensure that all weight rated equipment is used in an appropriate and safe manner within maximum allowed weight loading.
- Working Conditions - Typical conditions associated with an operating fossil or nuclear power station - extreme weather conditions, high temperatures, high pressures, high voltage electrical systems, and rotating machinery.
Requirements
- One year closely related experience with Tan Delta Cable Testing
- One year closely related experience with Motor Testing
- One year closely related experience with Automatic Voltage Regulator Maintenance
- Experience with troubleshooting electrical/instrumentation equipment
- Experience reading electrical diagrams, schematics, and one-line drawings
- Experience utilizing electrical/instrumentation test equipment
- Experience with lock out tag out of electrical equipment
- Physical Effort Required:
- Currently have Nuclear Access
