About the role
- ABOUT THIS POSITION The Revenue Integrity Specialist position is responsible for following procedures to make corrections to client data.
- This position may also require cross training of services and tasks to ensure effective collaborative efforts are made between teams and departments when needed.
Responsibilities
- Perform r eviews with sound judgment.
- Maintain a high level of productivity.
- Collaborate with internal teams, providing feedback from record reviews to support optimal site performance and best practice improvement.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) role.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent in Health Information Management
- Certification as a Certified Documentation Improvement Practitioner (CDIP) or Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Nice to have
- 5+ years of clinical experience in an acute care setting.
- Certified Coding Specialist (CCS).
- Ability to travel for department and company meetings.
- Exceptional critical thinking skills.
- Highly organized, with superb attention to detail and an absolute focus on quality.
- Strong team player mentality, dedicated to achieving the best outcomes for both our clients and the business.
