- KBR is seeking a Senior Program Systems Integration Engineer to join our team in El Segundo, CA.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement integration strategies and processes to successfully integrate satellite communication systems, segments (Ground, Space, Crypto, Terminals), subsystems, elements, and components
- manage the technical baselines among different stakeholders
- Perform analysis of the systems requirements that define the technical baseline and verification of the technical baseline
- Apply Digital Engineering methods and modeling strategies (i.e. Digital twins) to support integration and test activities
- support major requirements reviews, design reviews, and other associated meetings
- Lead and support Government/Contractor Working Group meetings-by developing briefings, leading discussion, and writing minutes-to address/resolve risks, issues, and action items
- Define and deliver alternative solutions to address different integration challenges
- manage schedule impact and overall delivery of products
- Facilitate review of contractor-developed program documents by performing technical assessments and providing comments, compiling other review team comments, and working with contractors to adjudicate the comments.
- provide courses of actions to support Government decisions
Requirements
- Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, mathematics, physics, computer science, or related technical field
- 12+ years' engineering work experience
- 8+ years' work experience in Systems Engineering, including such sub-disciplines as requirements management and technical baseline development, test planning, integration, and execution
- Master's degree in engineering, mathematics, physics, or computer science, or related technical field
- Experience working with/on MILSATCOM programs
- Experience working with military personnel and DoD civilians
- Experience with ground and space systems, such as terminals and networks
- Knowledge and experience in Agile Development and collaboration tools (Jira/Confluence )
Compensation
- The salary for this position ranges from approximately $162,500 to $203,000 depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
