About the role
- Comply with Safety Policies and Procedures
- Remove and install molds in plastic injection molding machines.
- Adjust machine control settings to prescribed setup for the part.
Requirements
- Ability to move or traverse about the facilities
- Must be able to ascend/descend stairs or ladders
- Ability to work around dust, chemicals, and other substances, and in various environmental conditions
- Set up machines for continuous production by positioning and aligning mold, connecting water, hydraulics, and air feeds as required.
- Complete required documentation such as tool change reports and production logs accurately and in a timely manner.
- Must be willing to perform all other duties when assigned
Nice to have
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Some technical training in related field or associates degree preferred.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision in a fast paced environment.
- Must have a valid Driver's License.
- Ability to operate forklift and obtain forklift license
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Two or more years of experience and familiarity with die setting procedures.
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledgeable of proper use of hand tools to set molds/dies.
