About the role
- Akido is seeking a Part-Time Medical Assistant (MA) to join our interdisciplinary care team delivering holistic, community-based care to underserved populations.
- This is a fast-paced, early-stage environment where you'll help test new ideas, improve patient experiences, and make a direct impact on people's lives.
Responsibilities
- Clinical Support & Patient Care
- Support providers with exams, procedures, and basic care within scope of practice.
- Deliver a warm, welcoming, and dignified patient experience.
- Provide follow-up support and help patients navigate care plans, appointments, and resources.
- Maintain a safe, organized clinical environment and ensure supplies are stocked.
- Support culturally responsive, relationship-based care delivery.
- Help build long-term relationships with patients and communities.
- Program Support & Innovation
- Use EHR systems, telehealth platforms, and digital tools to support care delivery.
- Akido builds AI-powered doctors.
