About the role

Supported by an externally funded grant, this role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of transformative technologies.
In addition, the Postdoctoral Research Associate will contribute to the preparation of quarterly progress reports, actively engage in discussions with project sponsors, and play a visible role in communicating research outcomes.

Design, plan, and execute independent research experiments in consultation with Prof. Barecka; complete research independently and communicate progress in regular meetings.
Generate and analyze experimental data in support of the project's scientific and technological goals.

Knowledge of electrochemistry fundamentals
Proficiency in performing electrochemical tests
Knowledge of analytical chemistry tools such as Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR), Gas Chromatography (GC), High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), and Mass Spectrometry (MS)
Proficiency in academic writing, time management, and communication
Experience operating electrochemical flow reactors, preferably for CO2 reduction
candidates with proficiency in reactor modeling will also be considered in lieu of this experience

$60,315.00 - $85,192.50
With the pay range(s) shown above, the starting salary will depend on several factors, which may include your education, experience, location, knowledge and expertise, and skills as well as a pay comparison to similarly-situated employees already in the role.
Salary ranges are reviewed regularly and are subject to change.
