About the role
- The Food Services Specialists directs the opening and closing of the department
- Assists with the training and evaluation of staff competency and performance.
- Opens and closes department at beginning and end of shift.
Responsibilities
- Maintains records of meals served, nourishments preparation & delivery and tube feeding prescriptions, preparation and service.
- Maintains production and service areas sanitation standards.
Requirements
- Food Handlers Card - Certification Food Service\ - Food Handlers Card Food Handlers Card Upon Hire Required
- Assigns tasks, coordinates preparation and production of food required for all service points.
- Assumes grill cooking and entrée service tasks as required.
- selects menus, forecasts products required, and arranges for rental items
Nice to have
- Bachelors Preferred
- High School Diploma or GED Preferred
- 1 year related experience Required
- 3 years Hospital Food Service, 3 years Food Service, Diet Representative Experience or Diet Technician Experience Preferred
- Food Handlers Card
- Certification Food Service\
- Food Handlers Card Food Handlers Card Upon Hire Required
- Manager Food Handlers Card
