About the role
- We are hiring a Senior Backend Developer to join our Engine AI team.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable, high-performance, and production-grade backend services and distributed systems to support large-scale model inference.
- Contribute significantly to the technical roadmap and design of our inference platform, focusing on low-latency, high-throughput services.
- Architect and implement core services for the Agent Development Kit (ADK) and other AI orchestration frameworks, enabling reliable state management and complex multi-agent workflows.
- Partner cross-functionally with release management, release QA, product, and engineering teams to align our solutions with strategic business needs.
- Manage and optimize our cloud infrastructure (GCP) and orchestrate workloads with Kubernetes.
- Promote and implement best practices for backend service development, testing, deployment, and monitoring (DevOps, SRE).
- You will collaborate closely with tech leads, product, and engineering teams to build and operate the critical services that support the whole Unity Engine organization.
- Relocation support is not available for this position
Requirements
- Extensive hands-on experience designing, deploying, and maintaining distributed systems at scale, including managing cloud infrastructure on GCP and orchestrating workloads with Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with Agent Development Kit (ADK), Claude SDK, LangGraph or other AI agents orchestration frameworks.
- Familiarity with microservice architectures, containerization (Docker), and CI/CD best practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with an ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A DevOps or SRE background with experience in infrastructure automation.

- Contribuer de façon significative à la feuille de route technique et à la conception de notre plateforme d'inférence, en mettant l'accent sur des services à faible latence et à haut débit.
- Assurer la fiabilité, l'évolutivité et l'efficacité de nos systèmes en production en utilisant des outils de surveillance et d'observabilité, comme Prometheus et Grafana.
- Collaborer de manière transversale avec les équipes de gestion des versions, d'AQ des versions, de produit et de développement afin d'aligner nos solutions sur les priorités stratégiques de l'entreprise.
- Gérer et optimiser notre infrastructure infonuagique (GCP) et orchestrer les charges de travail avec Kubernetes.
- Promouvoir et mettre en place les meilleures pratiques pour le développement, les tests, le déploiement et la surveillance des services dorsaux (DevOps, SRE).
- Maîtrise de Python / Node.js / Golang pour concevoir des systèmes et des infrastructures hautement performants et à faible latence.
- Connaissance de l'Agent Development Kit (ADK), du Claude SDK, de LangGraph ou d'autres cadres d'orchestration d'agents IA.
