About the role
- This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting complex equipment, solving technical challenges, and contributing to a safe, efficient manufacturing operation.
- You'll play a key role in maintaining production equipment, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
- Diagnose equipment issues, identify root causes, and implement effective long-term solutions.
- Adjust and maintain machinery to ensure optimal operating performance.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate equipment issues, repairs, and recommendations.

Requirements
- 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with PLCs, VFDs, automated equipment, and process automation systems.
- Experience in foam manufacturing, foam fabrication, or a similar manufacturing environment is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) systems is an asset.
- Knowledge of Canadian electrical and workplace safety standards.
- Experience operating or working around forklifts, scissor lifts, or similar equipment is an asset.
- Experience with fire alarm systems and facility maintenance is considered an asset.
- Ability to read technical drawings and equipment documentation.
- Ability to communicate effectively with maintenance, production, and leadership teams.
- Install, modify, commission, and decommission production equipment as required.
