About the role
- REMOTE opportunity for candidates geographically located in Southern California
- The essential functions of this position include:
Responsibilities
- Oversee, train, assist and develop the Project staff
- Run complex projects/programs from design and development to production
- Create strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning
- Direct and oversee project engineering team and manage conflicts within group
- Perform team assessments and evaluations
- Work with Presales to develop Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for external services
- Manage and maintain technical and project documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business, Engineering, Technology or related field
- Minimum 10 years of project management or IT Management experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience coordinating and/supporting IT business processes
- PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification or equivalent
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) or other best practices certification is a plus

- Define requirements and plan project lifecycle deployment
- Work with Service Directors to define resource requirements and determine schedules for project implementation
- Plan and schedule project deliverables, goals and milestones
- Facilitate team and client meetings effectively
- Hold regular status meetings with project team
- Demonstrate leadership to define requirements for project risk
- Review deliverables prepared by team before passing to client
- Effectively apply ePlus methodology and enforce project standards
