- In this role, you will serve as a technical simulation expert responsible for configuring, adapting, troubleshooting, and enhancing advanced military simulation capabilities.
Responsibilities

- Your work will directly support the client's wargaming, experimentation, analysis, training, and operational decision-making activities.
Requirements
- Over 5 years of experience in simulation, preferably for military applications
- Ability to diagnose model behavior, identify data issues, troubleshoot run-time failures, resolve integration problems, and address performance bottlenecks
- Practical experience with scripting, data files, configuration management, version control, issue tracking, logs, telemetry, and reproducible defect reporting
- Possess active or eligible security clearance, as required by contract
- Experience in military wargaming, campaign analysis, mission-level simulation, constructive simulation, or agent-based simulation
- Knowledge of verification, validation, and accreditation (VV&A), model validation, data pedigree, or documentation for analysis credibility
- Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, C#, Lua, SQL, or other domain-specific configuration languages
- Familiarity with military operations, joint/coalition planning, force structure, command and control, weapons and sensors, logistics, or mission analysis
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
- graduate-level degree preferred
Compensation
- $140,000 - $225,000
- The above salary range is an estimate based on the internal job level(s) for which this role is being considered.
- The final salary will be decided after careful evaluation of the individual's work experience, education, and overall qualifications.
